Introduction 45 minutes before curtain-up
“If there are better productions of these plays this year, or even in the next few years, I will be astonished“, wrote the Guardian a few weeks ago in a review of Edward Hall's two productions coming to the Globe this summer. This year's “Dream“ is a reprise of the play which captivated audiences at the Globe in 2003, with its truly inspired staging, first-class acting and glorious singing - even during the interval – of Hall's all-male cast. The Watermill Propeller Company is touring with the double bill “Merchant“ and “Dream“ and will be appearing in England, Tokyo, Rome, New York and Milan, with their only performances in Germany at the Globe in Neuss.
