Introduction 45 minutes before the performance
Edward Hall, last here at the Globe in Neuss with the "Merchant of Venice", now brings us
Richard III. Richard Clothier plays the title role, the evil and ruthless character known in world literature as someone who will use any unscrupulous method to get to power. When he finally wears his crown he not only disgraces himself but the whole dignity of the monarchy is slurred upon by crimes committed. Right to the bitter end he rids himself of all his adversaries, even his under age nephew. Why does it always take so long for the good to rise up against the tyrants?
Edward Hall has yet again set standards here with his 14-man company. This is not to be missed!
