Comedy of Errors
Rah-e Sabz is a small theater marvel. In 2005 the group enacted Shakespeare's „Love's Labour's Lost“ in a historical garden in war-torn Kabul. Men and women, at times without a headscarf, acted as lovers- an audacious endeavor in present-day Afghanistan. The group has now left Kabul for the first time upon acceptance of the invitation from London Globe's „Olympic Festival“. Next on the schedule is the „Comedy of Errors“, a new production directed by Syrian-born Corinne Jaber, whose rehearsals were relocated to India due to the attacks in Kabul. The Shakespeare Festival Neuss is excited to present to you the work of this courageous company from Afghanistan
German Premiere in Farsi with english subtitles
