Love precipitates like a hawk, the world sinks, lovers only see themselves. In Shakespeare love fulfils one's whole being, it is ecstasy and desire. In Midsummer Night's Dream the only thing that remains of the love madness is the suddenness of desire. It is the most erotic of all the Shakespeare plays.“ (Jan Kott)

The Bremer Shakespeare Company has produced a wonderfully atmospheric “Midsummer Night's Dream“ under the direction of Benno Ifland, a play which will delight at this year's Shakespeare Festival. The Bremer Group is playful, fast-moving and humourous: sheer Globe feeling.
And because it is so beautiful we will be dreaming of the midsummer five times.

Introduction 45 minutes before performance begin.
