Edward Hall is winding up for a double blow. Two productions that could already be seen in Globe Neuss: in 2009, “A Midsummer Night's Dream“ and in 2011, “Comedy of Errors“- but the two versions have been revised and boast a completely new cast,
all-male, of course.
“We want to rediscover Shakespeare simply by doing the plays as we believe they should be done: with great clarity, speed and full of as much imagination in the staging as possible.“ (Edward Hall)
You will dream four times- with elves, fairies, donkeys, and craftsmen- all on board this Noah's Ark of a theatre piece, which has survived the Flood due to its magical balance of poetry and cheerfulness. And last but not least, Joseph Chance as Puck is a must-see.
