“Much Ado About Nothing“ is wonderfully comical and enthrallingly dramatic. Between Beatrice and Benedick, Shakespeare left us with one of the sharpest and most witty dialogues of literary history. Claudio loves Hero and Hero loves Claudio, and nothing seems to be able to tear them apart. Benedick loves Beatrice and Beatrice Benedick, but- because they just don't want to admit it- nothing seems to be able to bring them together. A jealous neighbour's intrigue jumbles everything up- and puts it back together again. It's superb fun with some nasty moments.
From Globe to Globe, this new production, directed by Max Webster, has managed to enter the Festival in Neuss directly from London.
