Everyone knows Dominique Horwitz from cinema and television. This time, he will be on stage and not only will he be able to present his talent for languages but also his musical one, playing time-honoured English Renaissance music, as well as chansons, perhaps by Philipp Glass, Jacques Brel and David Bowie. As usual, in cooperation with the Lautten Compagney Berlin and soprano Marielou Jacquard, these “Midsummer Night's Fantasies“ will deal with the confusing games of love and will be based freely on Shakespeare's “A Midsummer Night's Dream“, with Dominique Horwitz in the role of the total-chaos-creating Puck.
“If music be the food of love“, this evening represents fusion food for the soul, filled with an abundance of music, arias, beautiful lyrics and chansons.
