“Pony Camp: Troilus & Cressida“ is a breath of fresh air. Stephanie van Batum brought this Shakespeare piece onto the stage for the Otto Falckenberg School of Performing Arts in the studio of the Munich Kammerspiele. The warriors of Troy rock and roll while the lovely Helena gracefully waves from the sofa. In between: a narrator, so you as the spectator don't get lost when it comes to deciphering the goings-on between Troilus and Cressida, Achilles and Patroclus, Athens and Troy – all because of a woman: which just comes to show that there is no room for love on the battlefield.
