All good things come in threes: when the jazz singer Caroll Vanwelden comes to Neuss for the third time, she will bring her third album with her to the premiere at the Globe. This album showcases her own musical renditions of Shakespeare´s sonnets. Among the well-known works she will perform are: “To me, fair friend, you can never be old“ and “Shall I compare thee to a summer´s day“. With her accompanists Thomas Siffling, trumpet and flugelhorn, Mini Schulz, double bass, Jens Düppe, drums and percussion, and Hans van Oost, guitar, she will certainly bedazzle the audience at the finale of this year's festival.
