After a long Shakespearean abstinence, the theaterachse from Salzburg travels to Neuss with its new version of The Tempest. A "fairytale romance", also suitable for young people from the age of 12, is what director Mathias Schuh calls his musical staging of the story of Prospero. The former Duke of Milan is stranded with his daughter on a Caribbean island, which he has been subjugating with his magic skills for years. Then it begins: a storm, a shipwreck, many confusions, deceptions, and a first love. Everything goes well - no bodies, no blood – and in the end reconciliation and forgiveness. The stuff that dreams are made of.
