Description

In the middle of the Cold War, in 1972, the French main representative of the Absurd Theatre, Eugène Ionesco, wrote a skeletonized version of Shakespeare's drama as a tragic farce. The following characters appear: Macbeth, Banquo, Duncan and the witches. Lady Macbeth – a brilliant idea - is one of the witches who later transforms into Lady Duncan and marries Macbeth. Absurd. The staging of the Polish theatre Papahema – as brilliant as in last year 's performance of "The Taming the Shrew "- pushes it to the extreme: the game of ambition, corruption and cowardice take place on the golf course ... The opportunity to get to know a piece whose German translation can only be found as an antique.
