Description
1945: After six years of war, the soldiers finally want to exchange the battlefield for long-missed laughter and love. They are welcome to Leonato's house where Claudio falls in love with young Hero during the first dance, while Benedick and Beatrice defend their existence as singles with verbose shameful fights, ultimately docking – not without a little intrigue, of course - in the port of marriage. A great commotion causes the evil stepbrother, but everything ends well in this wonderfully turbulent comedy - with which the Northern Broadsides, under the new direction of Conrad Nelson, seek to win over the audience’s hearts.
