Shakespeare and the Globe
Lecture Patrick Spottiswoode

Dates
- Wednesday, June 23, 2021, 20:00h –
Description
Patrick Spottiswoode, Founder of the Educational Department of the Globe London, is a regular and secret star at the Shakespeare Festival so his lecture cannot be missing from this year’s Shakespeare Garden. He will again speak about Shakespeare's life, the practices of the Elizabethan stage and the Globe as a milestone in European theatre architecture. The success of his “lectures” is due to the witty, humorous way in which Patrick Spottiswoode, equally brilliant in acting and rhetorically, presents and conveys his seemingly spontaneous statements.
In English.
